Beginner Camp I: |
| For those students who don't have any musical background or who think they may be interested in playing the piano. This is a camp that will focus on building a solid foundation of beginning paino and music skills. Ages 5 and up. |
Beginner Camp II: |
| This a continuation of Beginner Camp I. This camp is for students who have a basic understanding of music concepts. If new to the studio a brief evaluation will be necessary before admittance to this camp. |
Compose and Play on the Wii: |
| That's right with the Nintendo Wii. Students will create a music composition and recording using various instruments with the game Wii Music. We will also be focusing on rhythm and sight reading as well as general music skills. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY |
Junior Composer and Recording Artists: |
| This camp is focused on creating beginning music compositions. Students will learn how to orchestrate, compose, and record either original works or how to lay the track for their favorite song. Minimum 1 year piano. |
Piano Band (Ensembles): |
| This camp is designed for those who would like to learn to play with a group and blend various instruments. This camp will focus on ear training and rhythm along with exploring all the "goodies" of the digital paino. Minimum 1 year piano. |
Sing it with Wii and Rock Band: |
| This camp is all about the voice. This camp will be utilizing the game Sing it and Rock Band for the Wii system. Along with the fun of creating your own sound, students will begin to develop a sight-pitch relationship, work on projection, and 2 part harmonies. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!! |
Inside the Piano and Performance Readiness: |
| This camp will explore the innerworkings of the Piano along with its development. This camp will work with a developing pianst to improve technique and work on memorization skills as well as interpretation of music. Minimum 1 year piano. |
